Players
The Team
Tapping the "Players" tab will take you to a list of players for your team. This is where you can add additional players and view player profiles.
Adding a Player
To add a player to your team, tap the “Add Player” card. This will always be the last card in your player list.
Players can also be added using the plus button at the top right corner.
Add A New Player
Adding a new player is straighftoward. Enter the player details, like name, number and position.
You can add players with properties like Active/Inactive and Injured. By default, all players are added as active.
Selecting Inactive or Injured ensures the players have profiles for your team, but disables them from being subbed into games.
Selecting the injury toggle creates a new text field where you can enter in any injury details to be displayed on their profile.
Tap “Add player” at the bottom once you are finished entering their information.
Tip: Teams can have multiple players by the same name, number, position etc. No need to worry about accidentally overwriting data for another player.
Add An Existing Player
When you start a new season, you may not know exactly who is going to be playing for your team. You will probably have a few new players, but many times you will have players returning from past seasons.
The search function allows you to search through all players that have played for your team in past seasons and bring them into your current season. This ensures that all of that player's stats are tied together and can continue building.
Player Profiles
Tap on the player card to view their profile. This will automatically update as games are played.
Admins in KeeperBox have the ability to export player stats to a .csv file by tapping the export button on the player's name card.
To edit a player’s name, number or position, tap the edit button at the top right corner while in the player’s profile. This will not affect any previously entered stats. Edit away!
Player Profiles are organized into three sections: Stats, Games, and Achievements.
Stats
Player stats are updated every time an event is entered within a game. Stats are tied to seasons. This way you can create multiple seasons and have stats tracked separately.
Heat Maps
Heat maps display shots, goals, and saved on both goal and field positions.
To filter out specific events, tap the Event Types filter button and select the events you would like to see on the heat map.
Stat Totals
Here you can see a breakdown of every stat by their type and subEvent type.
Games
On the games tab, you can see every game that this player has played in. Tapping on the Game Tile will take you directly to that game's detail.
Achievements
On the Achievements tab, you can see the achievements that this player has unlocked.
Achievements are simply a fun way to incentivize players to achieve certain milestones within the season.
Achievements are earned through in-game events and the requirements to earn that achievement are described in detail on this tab.
A lock symbol means that achievment hasn't been earned yet. Once a player earns that achievement it will show an emoji!
